Murphy turns down Linfield offer

Tuda Murphy started his Irish League career with Donegal Celtic

Glenavon keeper Tuda Murphy has rejected a move to league champions Linfield and agreed a one-year contract extension with the Lurgan Blues.

Linfield made an official approach for the Cayman Islands international with a view to signing the player on a pre-contract agreement.

Murphy has impressed in his first season at Mourneview Park.

Midfielder pair Gerard McMahon and Paul Carville have also signed up for another year with the club.
