Islands mark 10-year friendship

Madeira and Jersey have a 'friendship agreement'

Celebrations have been taking place to mark the 10th anniversary of the friendship agreement between Madeira and Jersey.

The agreement was originally signed to forge greater links between the two islands.

The president of Madeira, Alberto Joao Jardim, is visiting Jersey as part of the commemoration.

A special reception at the town hall has been taking place, hosted by the Lieutenant Governor.
