Inquiry into £100 child films ad
Police investigating an advertisement inviting children to appear in "real life films" for £100 are trying to trace the person who placed it.

The ad, in a newsagent's window in Easton, asked for photos to be sent to a post box account in Westbury-on-Trym.

The newsagent said he did not fully read the text of the ad - which arrived by post with a cheque to cover costs - before putting it on display.

The postcard was taken by a customer and handed into a police station.

Any other newsagent or shop which has received requests to place similar adverts, has been urged not to display them, but to contact the force's Public Protection Unit which is investigating the incident.
