Fatal crash man dies in hospital

The 26-year-old driver of an Audi car involved in a double fatal accident with a lorry has died days after the accident.

Two women were killed and the car driver suffered serious injuries in the accident early on Sunday morning.

Police said the women were passengers in the Audi which was being driven by the man on California Drive on the Europort industrial estate at Whitwood.

A third female passenger was slightly hurt, the lorry driver suffered shock.

Officers want to speak to anyone who witnessed the accident.
