E-fit of crash suspect released
An e-fit of a man police want to speak to
The driver is said to have a thin face and prominent nose
Police have issued an E-fit of a man they want to question over a fatal hit-and-run accident in Huddersfield.

Adam O'Toole, 18, of Holmfirth, was hit by a blue car at a crossing on New Hey Road, Salendine Nook, on 6 March.

Witnesses later saw a damaged Rover 200 car travelling towards Denshaw on the A640 near Nont Sarah's pub.

The driver, who police believe could be from the Oldham or Rochdale areas, is described as white, in his 20s, with a thin face and a prominent nose.

He is also said to have unkempt hair.

Det Insp Jon Morgan, from Kirklees CID, said: "We know that the car drove off towards the M62 and we have had a sighting of a blue Rover 200 with accident damage driving along the A640 by the Nont Sarah's pub towards Denshaw."

Mr Morgan said he wanted to hear from garages in the Oldham area which have had a blue Rover 200 brought in for repair.

He added: "Enquiries are progressing well and it is only a matter of time before we trace the person responsible. We will not give up until Adam's family have the answers they need."
