E-fit after man hurt in car theft

An e-fit has been released by police of robber who posed as a buyer and dragged a man across a driveway as he stole his car and sped off in it.

The 40-year-old clung on to his car in an attempt to stop it after the robber pushed him over and took the key.

He suffered fractures in his left shoulder and right foot and was unable to stop the car from leaving.

The robbery happened in Dunt Lane, Wokingham, Berkshire, on 21 August after a man came to view an Audi A3.

Det Con Colin McCarlie said: "This was a nasty incident which left the victim needing hospital treatment for some serious injuries.

"I am keen to speak to anyone who has any information about this incident or anyone who recognises the description of the offender."

The offender was described as white, 25-30 years old, 5ft 11in, with an average build and with short brown hair.

He was wearing a white collared short sleeved T-shirt and three-quarter-length trousers.
