Woman sexually assaulted at night

A woman has been sexually assaulted as she walked through a Berkshire town late at night.

The victim, aged in her 20s, was walking in St Lukes Road, Maidenhead, when she was approached by a man who pushed her up against a wall.

Police said the assailant, who was of Asian origin, then touched the woman inappropriately.

The woman was uninjured, but police have appealed for any possible witnesses to contact them urgently.

The attacker was aged in his 20s with long, braided hair and was wearing dark clothing, possibly a tracksuit top.

The incident happened in the early hours of Sunday.
