Police seek racist abuse victim

Police have been trying to trace a victim targeted with racist abuse by a group of youths in Berkshire.

A member of the public reported seeing the group shouting racist comments at a person in York Road in Newbury on Sunday evening.

The youths were also seen intimidating other people and chasing after cars.

Pc Phil Blowfield said: "This kind of behaviour can not be tolerated in our community. It is highly likely that the victim was left very distressed."

He added: "We are very keen for them to get in touch so that we can help them.

"We would also like to hear from anyone else that may have witnessed this incident or who might have any other information."
