Teenage pedestrian dies in crash

A teenager has died after he was hit by a car on a motorway feeder road in the early hours of Saturday.

The 17-year-old boy suffered fatal injuries in the accident on the A329(M) at Woodley, near Reading, Berkshire.

The road was closed for more than three hours while Thames Valley Police accident investigators examined the scene of the accident.

The force has appealed for anyone who saw the accident involving a blue Peugeot 306 to come forward.
