Thieves take pedigree racing dogs
Two valuable racing greyhounds have been stolen from the garden of a house in Berkshire.

The thieves cut through the wire fencing of the dog run at the property in Braywoodside, Hawthorn Hill, near Maidenhead, on Tuesday afternoon.

A 15-month-old brindle and white bitch - called Kate Carnival - and a black bitch with a white spot on her chest - named Poppy - were taken.

Police appealed to anyone who knows where the dogs are to contact them.
