Lazy eye robber in knife threat

A robber with a lazy eye threatened a shop worker with a knife during a raid in Bedfordshire.

The robber demanded money from the cashier in the Co-op in Wigmore Lane, Luton, then reached into the till and removed cash, police said.

He fled with cash and about five packets of Sovereign cigarettes towards the Hansom Cab public house.

The robber was described as white, about 6ft 2in, of slim build and aged about 23.

He wore a parka style coat with a fur cover. His face was covered but the cashier could see his "distinctive lazy eye", police said.
