Charity cyclist killed in crash

A cyclist who died in an accident near Milton Keynes was raising money for charity when the accident happened.

Mohammed Abdullah Shah, 52, of Ealing, London, died in a collision involving a BMW on the A5D at Redmoor on Saturday.

Mr Shah was taking part in an annual charity cycle ride from Birmingham to London for the charity Children with Leukaemia when the accident happened.

He was flown to the John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford where he was pronounced dead.

The event was organised by the Sikh Arts and Culture Association to raise money for the charity Children with Leukaemia.
