A&E re-opens after patient arrest

The Accident and Emergency unit at a hospital in Buckinghamshire has re-opened after the ceiling and pipes were damaged by a member of the public.

But, people are still being urged to stay away from Milton Keynes General Hospital unless absolutely necessary.

Ambulances are taking patients to alternative hospitals, and managers said people with minor injuries could go to the nearby walk-in centre.

No-one was hurt. A man was arrested and is now being questioned.
