Mini sought in car damage probe
Detectives investigating a spate of attacks on cars in a Bedfordshire town have been trying to trace the owner of a Mini car.

Five attacks were made on cars in the Marsh Farm area of Luton between 20 and 25 October with all the vehicles being extensively dented.

A Bedfordshire police spokesman said an old-style black Mini with a white roof was seen nearby following each attack.

Police urged anyone who knows who owns the car to contact them.

All the damage took place between 2100 and 2300 BST each night, with two cars in Thrales Close, one in Purway Close, one in Repton Close and another in Pottery Close targeted.
