Boy, 12, seriously hurt in crash
A 12-year-old cyclist has been left with serious head injuries following a collision on a Hertfordshire road.

The boy was cycling on Harpenden Road, St Albans, when the collision involving a grey Rover 220 car occurred at the Ancient Britain junction, police said.

He was taken to Watford Hospital with serious head injuries. The male car driver was uninjured in the crash.

Hertfordshire police urged anyone who witnessed the crash, which took place on Wednesday evening, to contact them.
