Policeman denies driving charge

A police constable has appeared in court accused of dangerous driving during a pursuit.

Pc Paul Hollands, 40, drove an unmarked car dangerously, injuring a youth in Northampton in November, prosecutor Stewart Hamblin told magistrates.

At Northampton Magistrates' Court, Pc Hollands, of Milton Keynes, denied one count of dangerous driving.

The case was adjourned for a committal hearing, scheduled to take place on 1 September.
