Police charge 21 over drugs raids

Twenty-one men are to appear in court charged with Class A drugs offences following a series of police raids.

It comes after a two-day operation saw 41 addresses searched on Tuesday and Wednesday in Luton, London and Slough, with 32 men held.

Nine of those have been released on bail and two cautioned. The 21 charged men will appear before magistrates.

A further 17 warrants were executed on Thursday in Berkshire with 15 men arrested and in police custody.

In total, the operation has seen 58 addresses raided, 47 people arrested and 21 of them charged so far.

A quantity of suspected drugs has been seized together with a large quantity of cash.
