Boy stabbed in fight outside shop

A 16-year-old boy suffered stab wounds when an argument outside a convenience store in East Sussex escalated into a fight, police said.

Officers said the teenager was taken to the Kent and Sussex Hospital in Tunbridge Wells, Kent, but his injuries were not life-threatening.

Detectives said the attack happened on Monday evening outside the One Stop Store in Crowborough Hill, Crowborough.

A spokesman for the force said the weapon used had not been recovered.

Police are looking for a man described as tanned, aged between 20 and 24 years old, about 5ft 4in, of slim to medium build with short straight dark hair.
