Charges over street attack death

Two men have appeared in court charged over the death of a man.

Bradley Baker, 31, of Suffolk, died after being found unconscious in Paradise Lane, off Norfolk Street, in King's Lynn, Norfolk, on 6 May.

Christopher Noble, 25, of Hall Lane in South Wootton, appeared at Norwich Crown Court charged with manslaughter.

John Baldwin, 27, of Fuller Close, Mansfield, Nottingham, is accused of affray. Both were granted conditional bail and are due in court on 26 August.

Mr Baker died from serious head injuries in the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in King's Lynn, the same day that he was found.

Mr Noble and Mr Baldwin are due to appear in court in August to enter their pleas, ahead of their trial which is expected to start on 8 December.
