Murder charge over stab attacks

A man has appeared in court charged with the murder of a man who was stabbed during a night out.

Carlton Ashman-Samuels, 28, of Ninevah Road, Handsworth, Birmingham, is charged with the murder of Kevin Wright, of Bilton, Rugby.

He is also charged with the attempted murders of Carl and Danny Wright. All three were stabbed on Regent Street, Rugby, after an altercation on Monday.

Ashman-Samuels was remanded in custody at Nuneaton Magistrates Court.
