Train services hit by rail work

Improvement work planned over the Bank Holiday to the railway from East Anglia into London will affect journey times.

Operator National Express East Anglia has warned passengers to allow an extra 45 minutes for journeys with bus replacement services in use.

Buses will run between Witham, Ipswich and Colchester due to engineering work in Manningtree on Sunday and Monday.

Works near London Liverpool Street will leave services from Norwich terminating at Stratford on the same days.

Services to and from Cambridge to Liverpool Street Station will start and terminate at Tottenham Hale and services from Hertford East and Enfield Town will end at Hackney Downs, National Express East Anglia said.
