Three arrested after altercation

Three men have been arrested after a number of people were involved in an altercation in a Staffordshire town.

Officers were called to Bridge Street, in Stafford, in the early hours of Monday after reports of an incident in the town.

The men, aged 21, 18 and 23 all from Stafford were arrested on suspicion of public order offences and have since been released on police bail.

Police are appealing for anyone who saw the argument to contact them.
