Increase in motorbike accidents
Road safety campaigners say urgent action is needed to tackle the growing number of accidents involving motorbikes in Derbyshire.

The county's road safety partnership says there has been a 20% rise in deaths and injuries.

In Nottinghamshire, where there has been a similar rise, a recent crackdown on biker safety resulted in 15 bikers out of 47 getting fines or warnings.

One bike and five vans and cars were also impounded.
