Short debate: Welsh business

Conservative AM Mohammad Asghar said on 9 January 2013 that he wants to see Wales being the "most successful nation in the world".

He was speaking during his short debate, which was entitled 'How to take Welsh Business International'.

Mr Ashgar spoke about his ideas to boost the Welsh economy, which included setting up an enterprise council for Wales.

He also urged the government to consider establishing an airport in the Severn Estuary as an alternative to the government's purchase of Cardiff Airport.

Enterprise Minister Edwina Hart AM thanked Mr Asghar for bringing the debate forward and outlined some of the steps she was taking to try to strengthen the Welsh economy.
