Benefit cuts was the main concern for AMs during questions to the finance minister on 9 January 2013.
In response to questioning by Labour AM Vaughan Gething, Jane Hutt said the Welsh government was conducting a comprehensive review of the effect of the cuts on the Welsh population.
Mr Gething was particularly concerned about the "disproportionate negative impact" of cuts on larger families in his Cardiff South and Penarth constituency, many of whom are of Somalian origin.
Ms Hutt shared his concern saying it would be a year of "considerable" cuts, with 2/3 of people affected in employment.
The minister was also asked to respond to the effect of the cuts on looked after children and women.
Other topics discussed included the Silk Commission's first report, equal opportunities for young women and the extra £227m capital funding announced in the Chancellor's Autumn Statement.
