Finance questions

The Welsh government hopes to be granted new borrowing powers during the term of the present UK government, according to the finance minister on 14 November 2012.

Jane Hutt AM explained that as a result of inter-government talks she would expect the UK government to "agree a package of mesasure based on Silk Commission proposals".

Plaid Cymru Leader Leanne Wood challenged the minister to name her top five shovel ready projects which will can be started once Wales receives the new powers.

Although she did not name any specific infrastructure projects, the minister said that they could be found in the infrastructure projects plan.

Ms Hutt also answered questions on disability issues, capital spending projects and equalities.
