Portfolio question time

MSPs questioned infrastructure and culture ministers on a range of issues during portfolio question time on 9 January 2013.

Infrastructure, Investment and Cities Secretary Nicola Sturgeon answered questions on flood prevention help from Scottish Water for properties not on its internal flood register and the investment zone in Renfrewshire.

Transport and Housing Minister Keith Brown answered questions on the Forth replacement crossing and speed limits for HGVs on the A9.

Public Health Minister Michael Matheson answered questions on a range of topics including the roll-out of the Childsmile service in NHS Forth Valley, the tobacco control strategy and tackling Scotland's health inequalities.

Housing and Welfare Minister Margaret Burgess answered questions on help for companies wishing to invest in the regeneration of Ravenscraig.

Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop answered questions on Historic Scotland's inventory of battlefield sites, the digital participation strategy in Midlothian and support for national performing companies and cultural collections.

External Affairs and International Development Minister Humza Yousaf answered questions on the legacy of the 2014 Commonwealth Games for the Lothians.
