General question time

MSPs questioned Infrastructure Secretary Nicola Sturgeon, Finance Secretary John Swinney, Welfare Minister Margaret Burgess, Justice Secretary Kenny MacAskill and External Affairs Minister Humza Yousaf during general question time on 20 December 2012.

Issues that arose included when the Scottish government would announce plans for the Highlands and Islands superfast broadband pilot, the most recent discussions the Scottish government had with the UK government about the future of Remploy in Scotland, what benefits specialist domestic abuse courts bring to victims and what recent representations had been made to BBC Scotland regarding job losses in its Highlands and Islands service.
