General question time

MSPs questioned Finance Secretary John Swinney, Energy Secretary Fergus Ewing, Health Secretary Alex Neil, Education Secretary Michael Russell, Local Government Minister Derek Mackay and Culture Secretary Fiona Hyslop during general question time on 8 November 2012.

Issues that arose included whether the Scottish government expected to receive Barnett consequentials as a result of the UK Government's recently announced advice services transition fund, guidelines on breast screening for 50 to 70-year-olds and how the Scottish government planed to offer access to training and education to the 21,280 people reported in The Herald on 27 October 2012 as being on college waiting lists.
