Decision time

MSPs voted to pass the Criminal Procedure Bill on 27 October 2010.

Members voted by 97 votes to 18 to overhaul the existing system which the UK Supreme Court said breached human rights law.

They voted unanimously to back a motion from Standards, Procedures and Public Appointments Committee convener Gil Paterson relating to ministerial appointments.

A series of bureau motions were also unanimously passed.
