First Minister's questions

Scottish Labour leader Iain Gray accused the first minister of being "posted missing" during the banking crisis.

Mr Gray said Alex Salmond had repeatedly postponed meetings of the Financial Services Advisory Board to attend receptions.

Scottish Conservative leader Annabel Goldie asked the first minister if he would consider taking Scottish Water out of public control and whether he would reconsider his plans for free prescriptions and free school meals.

The calls came in the wake of a report by public spending watchdog Audit Scotland, which said the scottish Government could face a £3bn budget black hole in three years' time if spending continued at present levels.

Tavish Scott, the leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, questioned Mr Salmond on the recent bail-out of Lloyds Group and RBS.
