The DUP's Alex Easton brought the adjournment debate to the assembly on 23 March 2010.
He called on Social Development Minister Margaret Ritchie to commit to funding a delayed improvement scheme for bungalows for pensioners and people with disabilities in the North Down area.
The Alliance's Stephen Farry and the DUP's Peter Weir echoed his request.
The minister replied that the economic downturn had an effect on the income available for such schemes affecting nearly 3,000 homes across Northern Ireland.
She added that she was considering the outcome of a pilot scheme to allow tenants to vote to have their housing transferred to a commercial housing association, which would have responsibility for repairs.
