On 20 December 2012, MPs took part in a wide-ranging pre-recess adjournment debate.
The debate covered any topics MPs wanted to raise before the House rises for the Christmas break.
The first two parts of the debate focused on health and transport.
Issues raised included the East of England Ambulance Service, an appeal for Derby-based Bombardier to be awarded the contract to build trains for Thameslink, and a plea for more money for bus services in County Durham.
