Work and pensions questions

On 10 December 2012 Work and Pensions Secretary Iain Duncan Smith and his ministerial team answered MPs' questions on matters relating to the department.

Topics included:

• the future of housing benefit for people under the age of 25

• increasing the take-up of workplace pensions

• the number of people who have come off benefits after joining the Work Programme to date

• the potential effects of the Solvency II Directive on UK pension schemes.
