Adjournment debate

On 4 December 2012, Labour MP Chris Ruane led a debate on the use of mindfulness-based therapy in returning people to employment.

Mindfulness-based therapy is a type of psychological therapy designed to treat depression.

Mr Ruane argues that mental illness is strongly linked to unemployment among young people and is calling on the government to do more to raise awareness of depression.
