Debate on Great Grimsby constituency boundary

The Labour MP for Great Grimsby, Austin Mitchell, led a Westminster Hall debate on 27 November 2012 on the future of the Great Grimsby constituency.

The Boundary Commission has drawn up plans to reduce the number of constituencies in England from 533 to 502, and its recent report recommended splitting the Great Grimsby constituency into two.

The two new constituencies will be called Grimsby North and Grimsby South.
