Adjournment debate

On 20th November 2012, Conservative MP for Canterbury Julian Brazier led a debate on the case of Sergeant Danny Nightingale, an SAS soldier jailed for possessing a pistol he said was given as a "war gift".

Sgt Nightingale's lawyers are appealing against an 18-month military detention sentence given to him earlier this month after West Mercia Police found the pistol in his Hereford accommodation.
