Northern Ireland Affairs Committee

The Northern Ireland Affairs Committee has conducted an investigation into air transport strategy for Northern Ireland.

The committee heard from MLAs Arlene Foster and Danny Kennedy during this evidence session on 4 July 2012.

MPs investigated the implications of current air links for Northern Ireland, specifically the economy, and how connected Northern Ireland is to regional and international centres.

It also looked at the lack of public transport links to, and between, Belfast International, Belfast City and City of Derry airports and how the Civil Aviation Bill will affect Northern Ireland.
