Ten minute rule bill

Liberal Democrat MP Roger Williams introduced his Small Business Administration Bill under the ten minute rule motion on 27 March 2012.

The bill would establish a Small Business Administration with the remit of acting as an ombudsman and advocate within government for small businesses.

The new body would promote a suitable regulatory environment for small businesses, improve access to finance and develop small business-friendly procurement policies.
