Adjournment debate

Labour's Russell Brown led an adjournment debate on immigration cases at Stranraer and Cairnryan ferry ports on 22 November 2011.

Mr Brown is the MP for Dumfries and Galloway.

He is concerned at a report which showed that 102 offenders were detected at Scottish and Northern Irish sea ports in the first four months of this year - a rise of 65% compared with the same period in 2010.

The United Kingdom Border Agency cut funding support for policing at the sites last year.
