Adjournment debate

Tory MP Matthew Hancock led a debate on offshore gambling and the horseracing levy on 13 July 2011.

The West Suffolk MP wants the government to bring forward proposals to reform the horseracing levy in order to create a sustainable future for racing.

The levy is an annually negotiated fee that UK-based bookies have to pay in order to take bets on British races.
