Harman unveils pre-election parliamentary business

On 6 April 2010, Commons Leader Harriet Harman unveiled details of parliamentary business to be undertaken in the time remaining before Parliament is dissolved for the general election.

She confirmed that Parliament will prorogue on Thursday 8 April, before being dissolved formally on 12 April, leaving a period of three days for MPs and peers to conclude their consideration of this session's 12 remaining government bills.
