On 19 November, Chloe Smith, Conservative MP for Norwich North, led an adjournment debate on the proposed development of a Northern Distributor Road (NDR) in Norwich.

Ms Smith spoke in favour of the proposed road, arguing that Norfolk was being "held back" because of its transport links.

She told the Commons that residents and businesses in her constituency would benefit from the new route through reduced congestion and better road safety.
