Presentation of LUX prize

On 21 November 2012, the European Parliament president Martin Schulz announced the winner of the European Parliament's LUX prize was the Italian-French-Brazilian co-production, Io sono Li (Shun Li and the poet).

The prize, the parliament's annual award for independent cinema, was accepted by the director Andrea Segre.

The other two nominations for the prize were the Hungarian-German-French co-production Csak a szél and the Portuguese-German-French co-production Tabu.
