Voting session

MEPs held their daily voting session on 20 November 2012 during which they voted to approve:

• changes to judicial co-operation in civil and commercial law

• tougher laws on buying chemicals

• temporary measures on the recruitment of EU officials

• EU access to the Protocol for the Protection of the Mediterranean Sea

• a fisheries partnership agreement between the EU and Greenland

• technical amendments to the rules governing who can stand in European Parliamentary elections

• non-legislative reports by parliamentary committees

• rules for the marketing of agricultural products

• technical changes to the European Parliament's rules of procedure. To save costs, there will no longer be an automatic verbatim report of the plenary session minutes in all languages. A multilingual version only will be published, with translations available on request

• implementation of the Resale Right Directive

• a report by the Economic Affairs Committee on Economic and Monetary Union

• the annual report of the work of the ACP-EU Joint Parliamentary Assembly

• new rules on motorbike safety
