US kids vote for President online
Updated 01 November 2004, 14.33
John Kerry and George Bush
Kids in the US have the chance to get their voices heard in the upcoming US Presidential elections, with an online vote on a TV website.

Unlike some other web polls, the ZOOM Kids' vote is like the real thing - people can only vote once, on Tuesday, and are split into state groups.

George Bush has already won online votes from Nickelodeon and Scholastic.

Kids around the world can vote on the site too. Both results, kids' and the real thing, come out on Wednesday.

The real race for the White House is thought to be pretty much tied at the moment between President Bush and Mr Kerry.

The result is expected around 6am in the UK on Wednesday.
