Children should watch no more than one hour of TV a day to protect their health, scientists have warned.
According to a study, adults who watched a lot of telly when they were kids are more likely to be overweight, to smoke and have high cholesterol.
1,000 people born in 1972 and 1973 had their health and TV habits checked every few years until they were 26.
Other experts say the study shows junk food ads should be banned during children's programmes.
