At least six people have been killed in a car bomb in the town of Baquba in north-eastern Iraq, reports say.
The bomber is believed to have targeted mourners at the funeral of two Iraqi officials who were shot on Sunday.
There have been a series of attacks on Iraqi officials by local fighters who opposed the US-led occupation.
The attack was the worst in the country since the US handed power to a temporary Iraqi government on 28 June. Some reports put the death toll at 13.
