A school in Japan is tracking pupils so they feel safer in lessons and parents can stop worrying about where they are.
Every pupil carries an electronic tag in their school bag which sets off an sensor when they enter or leave school.
If someone without a tag walks past the sensor an alarm goes off - so no one can wander round school unnoticed.
And when children leave school the system sends a text message to their parents telling them their kids are
heading home and the time they left.
This means parents have a good idea when to expect their children home, so know if they should be concerned.
