At least 20 people have been killed in an attack on a government building in the Iraqi town of Falluja.
Up to 50 armed men are believed to have stormed the building in a bid to release prisoners being held there.
Reports said they moved from room to room, shooting people and freeing prisoners. Most of the dead are thought to be Iraqi policemen.
Falluja is located in an area where there is a lot of opposition to the US-led occupation of Iraq.
